REBUILDING TOGETHER – VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!

Once again IBEW Local 481 will partner with Rebuilding Together. Rebuilding Together provides critical repairs and renovations for low-income homeowners across the United States.  For over 25 years, Rebuilding Together has provided extensive home rehabilitation and modification services to homeowners in-need.  It is important for members to not only be involved with our local union, but the community as well.  The dates we will need volunteers are on the mornings of “Union Build Day” on April 22nd and “Game Day” on April 29th.  If you are interested in volunteering, please call the Hall (317) 923-2596.

IBEW 481 RENEW has officially been established.  After months of discussing and planning, it is off and running.  The first meeting was held in January, and the officers of RENEW were elected.  President- Kendrick Carpenter, Vice President- Sean Eagan, Recording Secretary- Bobby Tekulve, and Treasurer- Antwuan Armstead.

In March, the first ever family bowling event was held and the participation was great.  It was good to see all the members there who want to be active and help promote IBEW 481.   Stay tuned for what is next to come.

If you are interested to learn more about RENEW and want to get involved, there are monthly meetings at the Hall.  Mark the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m. and come out and get informed and involved.
