IBEW Local #481 FOOD DRIVE
IBEW Local 481 is doing a food drive for our membership. There is a drop box located in the Local 481 Office, 1828 N. Meridian Street, Suite 205, if you would like to donate nonperishable items.

IBEW FOUNDERS' SCHOLARSHIP
The IBEW Founders' Scholarship honor the dedicated wiremen and linemen, who, on November 28, 1981, organized the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. Each year the officers of IBEW are please to offer its working members scholarships on a competitive basis. It is hoped that the awards will not only contribute to the personal development of our members but also steward the electrical industry that our founders envisioned.
The IBEW Founders' Scholarship is for IBEW members who have been in continuous good standing for the four years preceding May 1 of the scholarship year. If a member has been on honorary withdrawal at any time during the aforementioned period, he/she will not be eligible to participate. The scholarship is not for spouses or children of IBEW members.
You may obtain a copy of the application, which is due May 1, 2010 for the next scholarship year by coming to the Union Hall office, 1828 N. Meridian Street, Suite 205, during regular business hours. You may also visit the IBEW website, www.ibew.org, for more information and a printable application. Please take advantage of the IBEW Founders' Scholarship Program.
UNION PLUS SCHOLARSHIP
Union Plus has a scholarship that is available for IBEW members, as well as spouses of members and dependent children. The deadline for the Union Plus Scholarship is January 31, 2010. for more information visit, www.unionplus.org.

IBEW LOCAL #481 RETIREES' CLUB
All of the IBEW Local 481 members who are retiring can join the Retirees' Club. Annual membership to the club is $12.00. The meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month at the hall at 10:00 a.m. On the evening of the meeting, a pitch-in dinner is held, followed by euchre.
