We are saddened to report the death of our Local #481 Brothers.

Mr. Robert O. George, 70, passed away on May 16, 2013.  Visitation will take place Thursday, May 23, 2013, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Flanner and Buchannan Funeral Center, located at 105 W. Pine St., Zionsville, IN  46077.

Mr. Marc S. McCartney, 55, passed away on April 20, 2013.  A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, April 24^th, at the Aaron Ruben Nelson Mortuary,  11411 North Michigan Road, from 4-7 pm.

Mr. John W. Evans, 63, passed away April 12, 2013.  Calling will be held Tuesday, April 16, 2013, from 4:00 p.m. until the service at Baker Funeral Home in Danville, IN.  Services will follow at 7:30 p.m. with military honors to conclude at sunset.  Contributions may be made to the IU Simon Cancer Center, 1110 W Michigan Street, LO #506, Indianapolis, IN 46202. 

Mr. Steven Hargrove, 66, passed away on March 26, 2013.  Visitation will be held Friday, March 29^th  from 4 to 8 p.m. at Lawson-Miller Chapel – 1702 E. National Ave., Brazil.  Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 30th.

Mr. Paul C. King, 94, passed away on March 19, 2013.  Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 17^th,  from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Dr  Madison, IN 47250.  Funeral services will directly follow visitation.

Mr. William Keys, 89, passed away on March 12, 2013.  The family has chosen to have a private memorial service. 

Mr. Patrick McKenna 42, passed away on March 10, 2013.  Arrangements are pending. 

Mr. Herbert Wehrheim, 71, passed away on February 13, 2013.  Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 19 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Flanner and Buchanan – Washington Park East, 10722 E. Washington St., Indianapolis. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, February 20 at Flanner and Buchanan.  Memorial contributions may be made to IU Melvin and Bren Simon Cancer Center, c/o Indiana University Foundation, P.O. Box 6460, Indianapolis, IN  46206.

Mr. William “ Randy “ Dalton, 63, passed away on Sunday, February 10, 2013.  Visitation will be on Wednesday, February 13, 2013 from 3:00 pm until 7:00 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary in Greenfield. Funeral services will be on Thursday, February 14, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. also at the mortuary.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association, 115 West Washington Street, Suite 1180-South, Indianapolis, IN  46204.

Mr. Walter W. Foster, 89, passed away on February 6, 2013.  Services will be entrusted to Anderson-Patterson Cremation and Funeral Services, in Fort Myers, FL.   In lieu of flowers the family suggests that you consider donations in his memory to either the Wounded Warrior Project, 4899 Belfort Road, Suite 300, Jacksonville, FL  32256, (877)-832-6997 or to the USO, P.O. Mr. Dale Gunnion , 62, passed away on January 23, 2013.  A Memorial Service to celebrate his life will be held on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at 2:00 pm., at St. Pauls Lutheran Church, 3932 Mi Casa Ave, Indianapolis, IN  46237.

Mr. David B. Eastwood , 51, passed away on January 24, 2013.  Visitation will take place on Tuesday, January 29^th  from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., at Meredith-Clark Funeral Home, Cremation and Personalization Center, 179 E. Mulberry St., Morgantown, IN., with the service to follow beginning at 7:00 pm.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent in honor of David to Amazing Facts, P.O. Box 1058, Roseville, CA  95678.

 Mr. Francis “Fran” Storms, Jr. , 91, passed away on January 23, 2013. Visitation will take place on Sunday January 27^th  from 3 – 6:30 pm at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory, Stirling-Gerber Chapel, located at 5950 E. Thompson Rd • Indianapolis, IN, with the service to take place Monday January 28^th at 11:00 am at Good Shepherd United Methodist Church, located at 2015 S. Arlington Ave., Indianapolis, IN.

Mr. Owen L. Hutson, 66, passed away on January 21, 2013.

Mr. Robert Runciman , 86, passed away on January 14, 2013.

Mr. David L. Jones, 87, passed away on December 23, 2012.

Mr. Richard E. Curfman, 85, passed away on December 4, 2012.  The family is not having public services.

Mr. Lewellyn Evans, 83, passed away on October 18, 2012. Services have already been held.

Mr. Thomas G. Neylon, 79, passed away on October 15, 2012. Private services are being held at Erlewein Mortuary in Greenfield.

Mr. John Dubecky, Sr., 78, passed away on October 9, 2012. Visitation will be on Friday, October 12th from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., at Little & Sons Funeral Home, 4901 E. Stop 11 Road, Indianapolis, IN 46237. Services will immediately follow at 1:00 p.m. and will take place at New Crown Cemetery, located at 2101 Churchman Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46203.

Mr. Gerald Rogers, 79, passed away October 3, 2012. Services have already been held.

Mr. Quentin Washington, 36, passed away September 4, 2012.  Visitation will be held Monday, September 10th from 9:00 a.m. -11:00 a.m. at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, 1301 North Goodlet Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46222, with funeral services to follow from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Mr. Harry Lister, 90, passed away August 21, 2012.  Visitation will be held September 15, 2012 at St. Georgia's Lutheran Church, 10931 S. 600 W., Edinburgh, IN 46124, from
11 a.m. - 12 p.m..  Services will follow at 12 p.m.


Mr. Richard Culbertson, 53, passed away August 4, 2012.  Visitation will be Wednesday, August 8th from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Conkle Funeral Home, 76 N State Road 267, Avon, IN 46123, with services onThursday, August 9th at 11:30 a.m.

Mr. Farmer Amburgey, 88, passed away August 2, 2012.


Mr. Robert E. Vandergriff, 71, passed away July 23, 2012.  Visitation will take Thursday, July 26th from 11:00 a.m to 1:00 p.m., with funeral services to follow at Legacy Cremation & Funeral Services, 1604 W. Morris Street, Indianapolis.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Liver Transplant Center or Organ Procurement at IU Medical Center.  Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. 

Mr. Terry D. Rice, 67, passed away July 16, 2012.  No services will be held. 

Mr. Wilford D. Niece, 75, passed away July 2, 2012.  Services have already been held.  

Mr. Howard D. Pickering, 65, passed away on June 23, 2012.  Visitation will take place on Wednesday, June 27th, from 4 - 8 pm, at Shirley Brothers Washington Memorial Chapel, located at 9606 E. Washington Street, Indianapolis, IN and Thursday, June 28th, from 9:30 - 10:30 am, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Crossroads Ward Chapel, 4745 E. 10th Street.  Funeral services will follow on Thursday at 11:00 a.m.


Mr. Melvin J. Elder, 90, passed away June 20, 2012.  Visitation will take place on Sunday, June 24th, from 4-7 p.m. at Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center located at 10612 E. Washington Street, Indianapolis, IN 46229.  Services will take place Monday, June 25th.

Mr. David Rohrbach, 59, passed away May 20, 2012.  There will be no funeral services for David.  A celebration of life will be planned at a later date. 

Mr. Richard L. Delano, 90, passed away May 16, 2012.  Arrangements are being held in Charlotte, NC.  Condolences may be expressed at:

Mr. Daniel W. Johnson, 73, passed away May 1, 2012.  Arrangements were held in Florida. 


Mr. Gordon Shull, 77, passed away March 21, 2012.  Visitation will be Sunday, March 25, 2012, from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens and Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Road 135, Greenwood, IN 46143.

Mr. Gordon Howard, 77, passed away on March 18, 2012.  Visitation will be Saturday, March 24, 2012, from 9:00 - 10:30 a.m., at St. Matthew Catholic Church, with funeral services to follow.

Mr. Zebadiah Phagan, 31, passed away March 18, 2012.  Visitation will be Friday, March 23, 2012 from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m., at Lytle Funeral Chapel in Madison, Indiana.  

 Mr. Russell Kinser, 39, passed away on March 18, 2012.  Visitation will be Thursday, March 22, 2012, from 4:00 - 6:30 p.m., at Ellenburger Church of Christ with services to follow.

Mr. Van Shumaker, 50, passed away on March 12, 2012.

Mr. Bobby Rodgers, 47, passed away February 22, 2012.

Mr. Robin Guzman, 56, passed away February 21, 2012.  There will be no public memorial service.


Mr. Leon Mescall, 61, passed away February 7, 2012.  Visitation will be Thursday, February 11th, from 11:00 a.m. -1:00 p.m., at Lavenia, Smith and Summers Home for Funerals.  Burial will take place at Washington Park East Cemetery.

 Mr. William Korkos, 84, passed away on February 4, 2012.  Visitation will be Tuesday, February 7th, from 12:00 - 2:00 p.m., at Pittsboro Baptist Church, 201 S. Maple Street.  Funeral services will follow directly at 2:00 p.m.
